Traces with AgentOS using SqliteDb

Store agent traces in SQLite by pairing SqliteDb with tracing=True on AgentOS.

This example tells Uvicorn to import basic_agent_with_postgresdb:app, but the saved module is basic_agent_with_sqlite.py. Replace the module name before running.

Run the Example

1. Set up your virtual environment

   Mac

   uv venv --python 3.12
   source .venv/bin/activate
   

   uv venv --python 3.12
   .venv\Scripts\activate
   
2. Install dependencies

   uv pip install -U "agno[os]" openai
   
3. Export your OpenAI API key

   Mac/Linux

   export OPENAI_API_KEY="your_openai_api_key_here"
   

   $Env:OPENAI_API_KEY="your_openai_api_key_here"
   
4. Fix the application module

   Replace basic_agent_with_postgresdb:app with basic_agent_with_sqlite:app in the saved file.

5. Run the example

   Save the code above as basic_agent_with_sqlite.py, then run:

   python basic_agent_with_sqlite.py
